Lumiant Integrates with Xplan to Better Connect Front and Back Office for Advice Firms
New integration helps remove data duplication and re-entry while enhancing compliance for advice firms.
Lumiant, an advice and client engagement platform that empowers advisers to connect with their clients and families around their lives, values, and finances, has integrated with Xplan, a comprehensive financial planning and wealth management software solution.
The new integration makes it easy for advisers to seamlessly create, edit, and update information across both platforms — removing data duplication and re-entry while enhancing compliance.
How It Works
The integration uses the Iress Open API to share client information from Xplan to Lumiant, while automatically capturing client conversations and interactions from Lumiant back in Xplan.
Xplan remains the advice firm's core CRM and client data repository, while the Lumiant platform powers client experience and advice engagement. Both client personal details and insurance information are synchronised from Xplan to Lumiant, which uses that data to pre-populate households and clients in its platform — allowing advisers to begin engaging clients with Lumiant's advice engagement modules and helping them realise the value of advice much faster.
The integration also automatically creates file notes in Xplan when essential activity is initiated and completed across Lumiant's Your Life, Your Values, and Your Investment Preferences modules. Exports of Your Best Life Plan can be file noted and stored as an attachment against the client in Xplan — saving advisers time in documenting conversations and client interactions, with key activities synchronised to Xplan for easy review by compliance teams.

Availability
Lumiant has integrated with Xplan using its standard integration template under Iress Open. The integration is available to all Xplan customers on Lumiant's Starter and Professional subscriptions. Additional fields will be integrated in due course to continue improving efficiency for advisers.
